ABOUT HIM:
He once sailed, and traveled far and wide, as was his life of a viking. He, along with the other Nordics, were vikings, on the exception of Finland.
Throughout history, he's had a bloody past. He once ruled Scandinavia, and always looked for more power, conquering and having people under his control. He loved that feeling of power.
He fought other nations, and once fought to take control of the Baltics. He's fought many battles, and each scar on his body brings back memories of all the battles he's been through.
He lost the seat of power, which he once held, and now he's just a peace loving guy, who helps the other nations fight against terrorist. But mostly, he is still somewhat neutral, and tries not to meddle in the affairs of others.
Denmark is said to be full of youthful vigor and humor, though he is also very stubborn and doesn't listen very well to others. As a result, he is known to be very controlling, bossy, and demanding, to the point where it is hard to get along with him. It was said that when he would finally make an appearance in the comic he would have a frightening impression. He is also a heavy drinker.
He appears to have a certain priority for maintaining his own self-image, as seen in Hetalia Fantasia 2 when he opts to lie to Germany and Japan about the progress of his quest.
Denmark blatantly ignores offensive and aggressive social tones, maintaining a cheery demeanor. Although this suggestion seemed to be only applied to his reactions to Norway's routine negativity, in the 2011 Halloween event he executed the same social method in a forceful confrontation with Belarus in which she throws a clothes hanger at him and yells that Russia's group is going to win the costume contest.

Sorry, that I haven't been around much. I've been busy and such. And I'mm still going to be, sadsa.
So, you won't see much of me.
Besides, I have gotten some reaally bad burn marks on both of my feet which hurts badly.
But next week I'll maybe going to Legoland and/or going to watch Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter too-
So, yeaah, busy.

His blonde hair and arrogant smile always made her feel rather off when they were around one another, though he was at least polite when it came to serious, mature matters. Much unlike some other people she had met, be they country or human citizens.
"Mathias!" She waved and called to him as he passed her by, then exemplifying her excitement to see him as she ran over and tapped him on the shoulder as though he didn't hear her calls. "Mathias, it has been too long. How have you been?"
